His Dark Materials Trilogy (by Philip Pullman) is one of my favourite stories of all time. Northern Lights (known as "The Golden Compass" in the USA) is the first of the books to be made into a film under the title "The Golden Compass" (with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig). I am very excited about this film. If you are not familiar with the story you can visit the movie website and learn more about the "people and daemons". You can also take a test on the website to see which daemon you would have. According to the test my daemon turned out to be a jackal, Theonilla. However if you think it's not a good match for me you can send your comments to change it before it settles in to its final form in 12 days. You can also view the trailer on the website. . .
It’s that time of year again! (Well, nearly !)
I will be appearing in the "Swingin' and Singin" concert at the RSAMD in December.
As students from the Musical Theatre masters course we will be joining the RSAMD Big Band for a rollicking programme of seasonal favourites and other surprises including Musical Theatre and swing hits! The concert is on the 12th of December at 7.30pm. This event is always a sell-out, so be sure to get your tickets (£7/£5) early! I have some tickets already so if you wish to come and see the concert you can get in touch with me and I'll do my best to get you a seat. . . Yilin sonuna hizla yaklasirken Iskocya'daki calismalarim da hizlaniyor. Aralik ayinin 12sinde saat 19:30'da Akademi'nin "Swingin' and Singin'" konserinde sinif arkadaslarimla ve RSAMD Big Band ile beraber sahne aliyor olacagim. I know it's been some time since the last update but things are pretty hectic over here. Life is moving on with immense speed and I am doing my best to catch up with it. As my internet access is still limited I must admit I find it difficult to find the time to post here. But I will try harder to do it more frequently.
