What's on Repeat?

This section features a song that I listen to obsessively.
As of April 10, the song is Son of A Preacher Man. Sung by various artists but this one in particular.

Shakespeare Sonnet Number 71

As some of you already know, Shakespeare takes up a significant part of my life. And this is my favourite Sonnet. I simply wanted to share it with you.

~LXXI~

No longer mourn for me when I am dead
Than you shall hear the surly sullen bell
Give warning to the world that I am fled
From this vile world with vilest worms to dwell:
Nay, if you read this line, remember not
The hand that writ it, for I love you so,
That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot,
If thinking on me then should make you woe.
O! if, I say, you look upon this verse,
When I perhaps compounded am with clay,
Do not so much as my poor name rehearse;
But let your love even with my life decay;

Lest the wise world should look into your moan,
And mock you with me after I am gone.

Çıkışyokland Cumhuriyeti 2004 - 2005

2004-2005 yılları arasında Murat Karahüseyinoğlu'nun yönettiği, "Çıkışyokland Cumhuriyeti" adlı oyunda rol aldım. Bu klip oyunun açılış şarkısı. Metin Üstündağ'ın "Denemeyenler" adlı kitabındaki metinlerden yola çıkan oyun 2005 yılında Sanat Kurumu tarafından "Övgüye Değer Yapım" ödülüne de layık görülmüştü.

This is a clip from "Çıkışyokland Cumhuriyeti", a play I took part in, directed by Murat Karahüseyinoğlu (2004-2005). The play won an Arts Institution award in 2005. This is the opening number of the play.
