What's on Repeat?

This section features a song that I listen to obsessively.
As of April 10, the song is Son of A Preacher Man. Sung by various artists but this one in particular.

Poetry

Now, I had no intention to post these but if they attract attention and if I receive comments,
I may be willing to share more. This is a poem, created using a magnetic poetry set (given to me for Christmas by a generous friend). There is more but I wanted to test the waters by this one...
Enjoy . . .

"I recall a delicate purple summer

sweet peach

delirious lather

thousands of languages in my garden

a gorgeous vision

behind"

what time is it mr.wolf?

LVIII .
That god forbid that made me first your slave,
I should in thought control your times of pleasure,
Or at your hand the account of hours to crave,
Being your vassal, bound to stay your leisure!

O, let me suffer, being at your beck,
The imprison'd absence of your liberty;
And patience, tame to sufferance, bide each check,
Without accusing you of injury.

Be where you list, your charter is so strong
That you yourself may privilege your time
To what you will; to you it doth belong
Yourself to pardon of self-doing crime.

I am to wait, though waiting so be hell;
Not blame your pleasure, be it ill or well.
