What's on Repeat?

This section features a song that I listen to obsessively.
As of April 10, the song is Son of A Preacher Man. Sung by various artists but this one in particular.

Horses....

Dear all, below is a song that I couldn't stop listening today. I heard it on the radio in the morning and fell in love with it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I didn't want to get rid of "I don't want to know" from the "What's on Repeat" box so this song comes as a post.

World Theatre Day

Dear All,
This is a message from Lynn Nottage, Pulitzer winning playwright, for the World Theatre Day (27 March). Her message comes as an alternative or an addition to Dame Judi Dench's international message. I have to admit that this message touched me more than Dame Judi's.
Please take 5 minutes to read it. I hope it will give you an insight to why I've always loved theatre and why I can't live without it.
Here's what hits me the most in sentiment.
"...[We must be] approaching our work not as journalists, but as fabulators, storytellers, breaking rules to help reimagine the world. We must be truthful, while spinning yarns. It is the paradox of our creative process that gives us access to places we dare not go in our everyday lives. It emboldens us to ask difficult questions about war, race, religion, poverty, love and hatred..."
Please follow the link below for the entire speech.
With love,
Onur

Film acting

Here's all you need to know about acting for the camera and film making.
Truly informative. (With thanks to Dr. Ipek B.)

I don't want to know

If summer is no longer carefree,
If children are no longer singing,
If people are no longer happy,
Then I don't want to know.

Let me hide ev'ry truth from my eyes with the back of my hand,
Let me live in a world full of lies with my head in the sand.

from Jerry Herman's "Dear World"
